Welcome to CPHP Southern Africa Region Website

Our website complements the other regional websites: East Africa www.nida.or.ug, West Africa www.cphp-wa.org, South Asia www.cphpsouthasia.com, and the global website www.cphp.uk.com as well as other knowledge and information management initiatives our Programme undertakes. We set up the website to inform agricultural planners, funding agencies, researchers, extension workers, producers, students in different agricultural colleges and universities, and commercial companies in the post harvest sector, of the work of the Programme and provide ideas for further development or uptake. We aim to make this website interactive as illustrated by the different feedback enquiries and submission forms featured under the various sections. It took us a long time to transform the website to tailor make it to suit your needs expressed in the feedback survey that we conducted in 2004. We thank you for your valuable inputs and hope that you find the new site more useful and user-friendly. We look forward to your continued support through the provision of relevant information and feedback.

Our website specifically aims to:
  • Serve as a reliable gateway to information on broad post-harvest issues;
  • Provide updates on current developments in the post-harvest sector;
  • Promote the CPHP agenda and presence in the Southern Africa region;
  • Publicize the role of the Regional Office and the services that it provides and;
  • Promote sustainable development of effective partnerships at national, regional and international levels.
